SSDSentinel operates entirely on your local machine. The application does not collect, transmit, store, or share any system diagnostics or telemetry of any kind.

License validation is limited to verifying your activation key against a unique hardware identifier. No disk serial numbers or file paths are ever transmitted during this process.

We only collect information necessary for the purchase and delivery of your license key (Email Address via Gumroad). This is never sold or shared with third parties.

SSDSentinel grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on Apple Silicon Macs for the number of seats purchased. Licenses are perpetual (lifetime) for the major version purchased.

• Single User License — Use on one (1) Apple Silicon Mac registered to you.
• Site License — Use on multiple Macs within a single physical location or household.
• Enterprise License — Use across an organization; seats specified at purchase.
• NFR / Promotional License — Evaluation or promotional use only; not for production environments.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or transfer your license key. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of SSDSentinel is strictly prohibited. You may not use the software to develop a competing product or share license keys publicly.

SSDSentinel includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality to ensure hardware compatibility before purchase. No payment information is required to begin the trial. Performance results may vary based on your specific SSD hardware configuration and system load.

Your license entitles you to all updates within the major version purchased (e.g., all 2.x updates for a 2.x license). Major version upgrades (e.g., v2 to v3) may be offered at a discounted price. SSDSentinel is under no obligation to provide updates but intends to do so as the platform evolves.

SSDSentinel reserves the right to revoke license keys found to be in use on more devices than permitted, shared with unauthorized parties, or obtained fraudulently. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SSDSENTINEL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SSDSENTINEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, SYSTEM FAILURE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE.

This is a convenience monitoring tool. It must not be used as the primary monitoring solution in safety-critical, life-critical, or mission-critical environments. Failure of the software must not be allowed to result in injury, death, or significant damage.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or binding arbitration. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

SSDSentinel reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the software after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
